Rev. Fr. Kuntz passed away at the age of 99. He was the dear son of the late Daniel and Carolyn Kuntz. His ordination as a Catholic priest took place on June 7, 1941. On July 1, 1984, he retired. He was the pastor and founder of St. Cletus Catholic Church in Warren. He also helped to start the Stella Maris, a hunting lodge for priests, in Gaylord, Michigan. St. Cletus had an annual venison dinner that he sponsored. He loved golf, and was present for the PGA National in Palm Beach, Florida. He was the Chaplain for the Warren Police Dept., and the Detroit Lions. The Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Grace St. Cletus Catholic Church, in Warren. He will be dearly missed.
