Virginia Bankston, Peru, died in Dukes Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 31, 1907, in Newport, Ark., she was the daughter of W. B. and Mary Ann Aitkens Blankenship. In 1930, she was married to Arthur Bankston. who survives. She was a retired employee of Delco-Remy in Anderson. Surviving with the husband are a son, three brothers C.C. Blankenship. Canalou. Mo., U.S. Blankenship. Parma. Mo., and A.A. Blankenship, Anderson; a sister, Ruth Leonburger, Parma. MO. three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. .

Services will be at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
