Mrs. Cook, a native of Jasper County, had lived in Macon for the past 28 years. She was retired from the Engine Maintenance Division of Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Cook of Macon; five sons, Joseph Polk of Macon, Grover Polk of Warner Robins, George W. Polk of Ft. Valley, James Polk of Columbus and Earl F. Polk of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. T.A. Creel, Sr. of Riverdale and Mrs. Mary Marco of Trenton, N.J.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Lizzie Waldrop of Griffin; and one brother, Roe Dennis of Valdosta.
