Daughter of Howard Richard Lynch and Edna Sarah Lynch Ellis. Preceded in death by her older brother, Richard Hage Lynch and younger brother, James William Lynch (Buddy).
Virginia loved her family and friends, and lived life to its fullest. She enjoyed traveling all over the world and making new friends, which she kept for life.
Virginia was a native San Diegan and belonged to many groups: Trojan League, Achievement Rewards for College Scholars (A.R.C.S.), Thursday Club (50 years), ZLAC Rowing Club (67 years), P.E.O. Chapter-AR (50 years), Junior League of S.D., Children's Hospital, Patroness Life Member of Children's Home Society - Makua Aux., S.D. Zoological Society, S.D. Museum of Natural History, Aerospace Museum, Fine Arts of S.D., Hospice of S.D. Virginia graduated from Monticello High School in Alton, Illinois. She graduated from Univ. So. Cal. with a B.S. in Sociology and B.A. in Fine Arts. She was in Delta Delta Delta at S.C. Virginia was very involved in the San Diego Crew Classic. She traveled with the girls from ZLACS to L.A., Canada, Cal Berkley and Princeton. Virginia lived at the beach for many years where she enjoyed playing beach volleyball and having picnics with family and friends.
She is survived by her nephew, Alonzo Jessop Lynch; her niece, Patricia Lynch Carl; two grand nephews: Brandon Alonzo Lynch and Justin Jessop Lynch; many cousins; and stepson and stepdaughter, Mike and Linda Grady.
