Flavil Brown was the brother of Ezra Dana Brown, and the father of Violet H Brown Whipple, both of whom are also buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery. He married Lottie M. Ross on January 3, 1932. After his death she married again to Harvey Thomas Yonally. Lottie died in Ohio in 2008.
