Services for Frank Paul Chironna, 78, of Westfield were held Monday at Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St. with the Rev. Dr. Robert B. Goodwin officiating.

Mr. Chironna, who died Wednesday March 10 in Union Memorial Hospital, was an electrician for the Hyatt Bearing Corp., Clark, for 30 years. He retired 13 years ago.

He was born in Altamura, Italy, and came to the United States in 1911.

He was a Westfield resident for the past 40 years. He was a former scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 277 of Westfield and was a member of Woodmen of the World, the Quarter-century Club of Hyatt Bearing Corp. and the New Jersey Electrical Contractors Association.

Surviving are his wife, Ida Villa Chironna; a son, John Frank of Morristown; a daughter, Lillian Virginia Monduro of Westfield; a sister, Mary M. Ponturo of Westfield; six grandchildren and four great grand-children.

Interment was at Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert Taratko Memorial Fund, Morristown High School, Morristown.
