Homer Martin, 77, Found Dead in Bed at Paris
PARIS, Nov. 30. — Homer Martin, 77, retired farmer, was found dead in his bed about 7 o'clock this morning by A. O. Rains, with whom he lived.
Mr. Martin roomed with Mr. and Mrs. Rains on the farm at the south edge of Paris, which he sold them about three years ago. When Mrs. Rains called Mr. Martin to breakfast this morning and received no answer, she sent Mr. Rains into his room. He had been in good health. His death was caused by a heart attack.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ernest Hedden, Hannibal.
Mr. Martin was prominent in Republican politics in Monroe County.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Funeral Thursday for Homer Martin
PARIS, Dec. 1 — Funeral services for Homer Martin, retired farmer of Paris, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Speed and Blakey Funeral Home by the Rev. I. O. Hall, Methodist pastor. Burial will in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Martin was found dead in bed yesterday morning by A. O. Rains, with whom he made home.

Homer Martin Estate Inventoried at $11,903
PARIS — The Homer Martin estate inventories $11,903.60 in probate court here this week. There was no real estate. In addition $3,000 in bonds were made payable to Elmer Martin, who was reared in the Martin home. There was no will.
