Lenox -Anne Elizabeth Abbott Lynch Moore, 74, of Lenox, died Monday, September 8, 2008, at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 10, 2008, in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. J Hinson and the Rev. D Ensley officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.
Born December 3, 1933, in Tift County, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Benjamin Hill Abbott and Mary Bolton Abbott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lee Moore, one grandson, Andrew Thompson, two sons-in-law, Dwain Meeler and Lamar "Doc" Blunt, and her mother, Lillian Abbott Melton.
Mrs. Moore, a homemaker, had lived all of her life in Tift and Cook Counties. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Tifton, and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, embroidering, and fishing. She also enjoyed people, her grandchildren, and family gatherings...
