LUTHER (Joel, Abel, Ephraim, Jonathan, John-2-1) Born March 3, 1830. He was a "very skillful carpenter" as reported by his nephew, Rev. Herbert W. Clough. Luther lived most of his life at Howell, Michigan. He married and had a son, Joel of Lansing, Michigan and Fred who died in 1938 at Bancroft, Michigan; the latter had a son, Hugh of Lansing.
