A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 1997, in River View Cemetery for Arlene Delores Burns, who died May 26 of cancer at age 84.
Mrs. Burns was born July 26, 1912, in Portland. Her maiden name was Carpenter. She was recreation manager for Multnomah Athletic Club and retired in 1977.
Surviving are her husband, Robert S.; sons, Gary of Bryon, Calif., David of Portland and Spencer of Hawaii; sister, Lois Lechner of Portland; and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Oregon Cremation Co.
