Luella Irene Hirni, 81, of Payson, Ariz., died October 3. She was born near Montrose, Mo. to the late Bennie C. and Iva B. Adams. In latter years the family moved to rural Rockville, Mo. Luella moved to Payson from Flagstaff, Ariz., in 1983 and was a member of the Ponderosa Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Elgin, of the home; son Marvin of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; four sisters, Mildred Morgan of Osborne, Kan., Lorene Spillman of Camdenton, Mo., Dorthy Steuck of rural Rich Hill, Mo. Darlene Lee of Hamilton, Mo.; two brothers, Kenneth Adams of Nevada, Mo., Wilbert Adams of Raytown, Mo., seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, John in 1998; her parents and five brothers: Clarence, Herchell, Edward, Bennie W. and Donald. Funeral services were held Monday, October 7 at Ponderosa Baptist Church in Payson. Memorial request to RTA Hospice, 107 East Frontier St., Payson, Arizona 85541.
