DEATH OF EMIL ZELENKA
Emil Zelenka, son of John and Mary (Kotas) Zelenka, was born northwest of Milligan, Neb., June 4, 1881. He passed away at St. Elizabeth hospital at Lincoln Monday, February 19, 1951, at the age of 69 years, 8 months, and 15 days.
On reaching manhood, Emil farmed for himself for a few years, later moving in with his brother and sister, Albert and Ludmila, where he continued farming for many years.
In 1945 his health failed, and he moved to the home of his brother John, where he made his home for three years, later moving to Milligan to live with his sister, Mrs. Frank Matejka. In 1948 he purchased a home in Milligan where he and his brother Albert lived until his death.
He leaves to mourn his death, Mrs. Joe (Agnes) Vodicka, and Mrs. Joe (Helen) Fujan, several grandchildren, three brothers, Albert, Frank, and John, two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Jennie) Matejka, and Mrs. Anton (Mary) Sladek. Preceding him in death were his parents, and three sisters.
