Sulphur - Anthony "Tony" Brian Andrepont, 61, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 in a New Orleans Hospital.
Tony was a loving person who loved life and had open arms and heart to everyone he met. He was always ready to drop anything to help a person in need. He enjoyed scuba diving and was a master diver. He also enjoyed country music, traveling, fishing, camping, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. You could always catch him in the evening on the porch enjoying his Budweiser. Tony was known for his catch phrases, "Don't get on my bad side", "Ain't no hill for a stepper", "I'm flat footed and don't give a Quack", "Such as life" and "ga de don" (Look at that). Along with his knowledge and love of history and archeology he was always ready to engage in a conversation about historical subjects. His idea of "me" time was walking through the woods, to enjoy the quiet stillness of nature and enjoying his snuff. Tony could always find humor in things and always spoke positive of people.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Heneghan Andrepont of Moss Bluff; sons, Anthony Brian Andrepont, Jr. of Houston; Travis Bowie Andrepont and wife Paiton of DeQuincy; step sons, Chip Nolen of Houston; David Nolen and wife Kim of Moss Bluff; daughter, Dawn Marie Andrepont of Sulphur; step father, Roy Fontenot and mother, Audrey Brasseaux Andrepont Fontenot of Iowa; brother, Carl Matthew Andrepont of Sulphur; sister, Judith Ann Andrepont Hoffpauir and husband Bret of Holmwood, LA; Pamela Andrepont Graham of Sulphur; Priscilla Andrepont Streams and husband Craig of DeQuincy; eleven grandchildren and one on the way and one great grandchild on the way.

His funeral service will be 2:00pm, Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Immaculate Conception in Sulphur. Father Eddie Richard will officiate. Visitation will begin Saturday 4:00pm-9:00pm with a rosary at 6:00p.m., a Life Celebration will be at 7 p.m. at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Join us to Celebrate and toast Tony's Life. Visitation will resume Sunday 9:00am until service time. Interment will be in Beauregard Cemetery in Deridder LA.
