LEAH McGEE WHITAKER, 100, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at St. Francis Nursing Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with services starting at 1 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Calvary Cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Leah Helen Pleasants of Memphis, Pat Mitchell of Memphis, Catherine Skinner of Oakland, TN and Annette Buffaloe of Lakeland, TN; one son, Nathan L. McGee of Memphis; one sister, Jean Marie Gardner of Kingsport, TN; two brothers, Paul Sharp of Memphis and Vincent Sharp of Arkansas; 26 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
