Clerk's Memory Leads to Reunion. Newspaper Clipping and Registered Letter Aid Actress in Locating Lost Brother-in-law. Through the medium of an item that appeared in The Republic Wednesday of this week, telling of a brother's search for Cecil Albert Froom, a member of an English family of title, who came to America twelve years ago to begin a profession on the stage, two members of the family that had not seen each other in years were reunited in St. Louis. With the Ben-Hur Company now playing at the Olympic Theater there came to St. Louis Sunday the pretty actress to whom young Froom was married in New York shortly after he came to America. She knew nothing of the presence of her husband's brother in the city and had not seen him for more than five years. yesterday, in registering a letter at the Post Office, one of the clerks was attracted by the name, and recalled to Mrs. Froom the incident of the Englishman whose story was told in The Republic. After reading the article, Mrs. Frooms set out to find her relativity, and later there was a very happy meeting. It was explained that the brother, Hubert, was really the one that was missing, for Cecil and other members of the family, had not heard from him in years. It was not known by Mrs. Froom that he was in America. The husband of Mrs. Froom is a meber of the Miss Bob White opera company, now playing at Pittsburg. Mrs. Froom signed with the Ben-Hur company this season and appears on the programme under her maiden name, Lillian Bishop. Their little boy is with the mother and for the first time yesterday he met his uncle. The Frooms, it is said, are prominent in England. The head of the house, Sir Charles Froom, died not long since, and the several sons inherited the family titles and wealth.
