CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - Alma Mae Williams, 89, of Crystal River, and formerly of Cumberland, Md., died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Life Care Center in Lecanto, Fla.
Born Oct. 4, 1914, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George and Hannah Jolley Swartz.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, George E. Williams, in 1971.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Kingsly United Methodist Church.
She is survived by
one son, Gary Williams of Crystal River;
four grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 7 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Chapel in Crystal River. The Rev. Alan Jefferson will officiate.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Mooney will officiate.
Local arrangements are by Rest Haven Funeral Chapel in Hagerstown.
