Esther C. Ponder, age 80, of London, KY passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, KY.
She leaves behind one daughter, Deborah Carole Dean of London, KY; two sisters, Joan Johnson of Richmond, IN, Peggy Sparks of London, KY; one brother Millard Chandler of New Paris, OH; one grandson, Larry Harold Dean of London, KY, plus a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Harold Ponder; her parents, Joseph Millard Chandler & Cannia Belle French Chandler; one brother, Kenneth Chandler.
Esther was a construction clerk and telephone operator at the Contel-GTE phone company and of the Baptist faith.
A Graveside services for Esther C. Ponder will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, KY. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
