Not much is known about Sarah Mott. She immigrated in 1882 and settled in Bay City, Michigan. She married Fred Clarence Cook on 22 Sep 1886. Witnesses were her brother Fred Mott and Tillie Lutzke.

Her husband, a well known driver for C.R. Hawley and Company Dry goods store died on Adams street, near the corner of Center on 03 Feb at 5:45pm while riding in his sleigh. He fell backward over the seat. An autopsy was performed, finding cause of death was caused by dilation of the heart.

He was formerly assistant to S.B. Shannon, an undertaker, He lived on Sheridan, near 10th street.

No mention in the article of Sarah. 1900 census record of Sarah in Bay City, taking in boarders. She was living at 204 Frasier St.

Sarah's parents, sibling (Artie) and her husband are all in Lot 780. Her husband is in Grave 2. There is a space that was reserved for Sarah but was not used.

I do not know her date of death or her final resting place. It's possible she remarried.
