Frank Epping, Age 77, Dies

Frank Epping, 77, Granite City, died Monday in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, where he had been a patient 12 days.
Mr. Epping was a retired Granite City area farmer. He was the son of the late Henry and Lena Bange Epping of Edwardsville.
He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Granite City. He had been retired about 4 years.
He is survived by his wife, Anna, a daughter, Mrs. John (Audrey) Jaros, and a brother, Ed Epping, all of Granite City; two sisters, Theresa Linkeman, Edwardsville, and Mrs. Joe (Angie) Kirsch, Kansas City, and four grandchildren.
Mr. Epping was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call after 2 P.M. today at Pieper Funeral Home in Granite City.
Services will be at 9 A.M. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Granite City.
