Edward Laws was killed in a truck wreck on Hwy 421, Wilkes, NC in 1945. In 1920 he was a farmer in Lewis Fork Twp., Wilkes, NC. Edward and Eliza had eleven children. His wife died at the age of 51 when his children were young.

NOTE: Edward Laws and his wife Elizabeth were not buried in the Maple Springs cemetery like his obituary shows. They were both buried in the William Marley private family cemetery. This is where pictures of their tombstones was taken.
