Mr. Greer was born in Central, NM to Joseph and Mamie Greer. He attended Bangs High School, where he was active in sports and mischief. Frank drove logging trucks in Oregon and northern California for many years before moving to Alaska where he drove dump trucks in Anchorage and on the North Slope. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Frank married his high school sweetheart, Eva Jo Taylor (Seymore) on Aug. 6, 1994.

He was a member of the Bangs Church of Christ.

He was the Platoon Sergeant of the Intelligence and Recon Platoon of the 351st Spearhead Regiment. He was often the point man for the 5th Army. Frank received the Bronze Star for valor.

He is survived by his loving wife; his four children; grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; and two good friends. His parents; and a sister, Della Williams, preceded him in death.
