James L. (Slick) Crayne, 86, of Morgantown, W. Va., died Wednesday, July 2, 1980, in University Hospital, Morgantown.
He was born September 10, 1893, in Greene County, a son of Samuel and Millie Smith Crayne.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Westover Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9916.
Surviving are his wife, Estella M. Crayne; one daughter, Mrs. Delores K. Hyre, Morgantown; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and one sister are deceased.
