Sister Agnes Claire Basgall, ASC, died June 17, 2006. She was born Oct. 28, 1925 to Alois G. Basgall and Mary (Weber) Basgall at Loretto, Kan.
With an MS in Nursing Education, she was a retired RN in various Health Care Ministries and was currently serving on the Board of Directors of Villa Maria in Mulvane and St. Joseph Villa in David City, Neb.
She is preceded in death by, brothers, Bernard, Victor, Tony, and A. A. Herman; and sister, Sister Rita Basgall, ASC.
Survivors include, sisters, Mildred Brungardt of Victoria, Esther Smith of Lakewood, Colo., and Alvina Engel of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, Betty Basgall of Victoria, Isabel Basgall of LaCrosse, and Martina Herrman of Hays; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and Sisters of the ASC Community.
Wake Service 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006 and Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006. All services will be held at the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita Center, 1165 Southwest Blvd.
A memorial fund has been established for the retirement of Sisters, ASC, 1165 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS 67213. DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary.
