The villages…..Helen Killam, 90, passed away on March 7, 2016.
She was born in Warren Co, Iowa on Dec. 8, 1925 to Ray and Ethel (VanPatten) Sargent. Preceded in death by husband Philip D. Killam and 4 brothers: Raymond (Wanda), Roland, Keith (MaryLou) all of Iowa, and Clyde (Delores) Sargent of California. She is survived by her 3 sons: David (Scot) of Leesburg, FL, Eric of the Villages, FL and Tim (Lisa) of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Shawn (Sara), Katie (Aaron) and Aiden, and 6 great grandchildren: Kristianna, Elizabeth, Cooper, Jasimine, Daisy and Kennedy.
Helen enjoyed in the past being a Scoutmaster for the Handicapped Boyscouts for many years. She loved to play golf, bowling, playing cards – especially bridge and playing the piano/organ. She was a charter member of the New Covenant United Methodist Church.
