Carl Lewis Crocker, 69, died Friday, July 1, 2005 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born February 9, 1936, in Lockhart, SC, he was the son of the late Lewis and Lona Mae (Loveday) Crocker.

Retired from textiles after 32 years and as a Deputy Sheriff for Spartanburg County after 14 years of service, Mr. Crocker was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg where he was an usher and former Sunday School teacher.

In addition to his wife, Faye (Renfro) Crocker, survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Cathy C. and Wesley Hall of Inman; grandson and granddaughter, Joshua and Hannah Hall of Inman; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Ruth Crocker, also of Inman; sister, Agnes Moore of Chester, SC; and brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Phoebe Ann Crocker of Union, SC.

Visitation was held 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2005 at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg.

Funeral services followed at 3:00 p.m. at the Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Hamlet. Entombment was at Heritage Chapel Mausoleum.
