Lieutenant Colonel Robert A. Bowlin retired from the U.S. Air Force as an Air Force Pilot. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was also a 32nd degree Mason.

Married Shirley Jane Smith on 12/28/1950. Had two children: Connie Ann Bowlin (Renner) and Robert A. Bowlin, Jr. Divorced 1988. Married Patricia Chappell in February, 1998.
