Mrs. Blurton was born on June 18, 1943, in Fayette County, the daughter of Russell and Opal Miller Holman. She was a member of Greenland Baptist Church, rural Beecher City. She married Delbert 'Skeeb' Blurton in 1965 in Fayette County.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Russell of Brownstown, Jack at home; daughter, Pamela Doty of Beecher City; parents of Beecher City; sisters, Barbara Zasada and Margie Lee Holman, both of Beecher City.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 8 at the Locust Grove United Methodist Church, Post Oak. Interment was in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Post Oak.
