Confederate Officer. He served under General Sterling Price and General Joseph Shelby. Member of William Quantrills Rangers. Venable eventually surrendered to law enforcement on July 26, 1865 at Samuels Depot, Kentucky.Parents were William and Rebecca (Yarbrough) Venable, both from South Carolina.
