John R. Stewart, 60, of 512 North Plane, died Sunday, November 23, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born July 30, 1926, at Middletown, he was the son of Russell V. Stewart and Jessie B. Wyerman Stewart. He married Ruth Dickson June 15, 1946, in Burlington.
Mr. Stewart had been the owner of John's Auto Service since May of 1958. He was president of the Blackhawk Hunting and Fishing Club and a member of the American Legion. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
