Minnie J. Epping, 85, of Edwardsville, died at 7:20 P.M. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1986, in Oliver C. Anderson Hospital, Maryville.
She was born Jan. 15, 1901, in Edwardsville, a daughter of the late Bernard and Adelian Grote Epping.
She is survived by six nieces and nephews: Ann Trares Wheat of Palatine, IL., John Trares of Corte Madera, CA, Robert Trares of Saudi Arabia, Robert Lapp and Helen Lapp Liston both of Carlinville, IL., and Ernest Lapp of Fairfax, VA. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Augusta Lapp and Delcye Trares: a niece, Norma Lapp Bloomfield, and a nephew, Gene Lapp.
Miss Epping was an assistant vice president of Edwardsville National Bank at the time of her retirement in 1969, following 50 years of service.
She was a charter member and past president of the Business and Professional Women's Club.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Edwardsville.
Friends may call from 3 to 8:00 P.M. today at the Weber Funeral Home, Edwardsville, where a scripture service will be conducted at 7 P.M.
Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Edwardsville, with the Rev. Virgil Mank of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Glen Carbon, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Edwardsville.
