Clifford Albert Howard, son of Albert and Lilly Smith Howard, was born in Mulvane, January 7, 1894, and died at Greenwood Community Hospital in Eureka, January 30, 1974.
He was married to Ethel Bartholomew, May 26, 1916, at Newton. Mr. Howard was a farmer and stockman and had lived in the Neal-Toronto communities for the past 27 years. He was baptized at the Brethern Church. He was an active member of the Toronto Masonic Lodge.
Those who survive are his wife, Ethel, of the home; three sons, Floyd of Neal, . . ., one brother Harry Howard, of Yates Center, five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. His parents, one son, Herbert, one brother, and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held from Campbell Funeral Home February 1. Rev. H.F. Schaechlele was the officiating clergyman. Interment was in Mulvane Cemetery at Mulvane.
