He was born in San Jose and lived in Jamestown for four years. He worked as a roofer for 20 years. He was a member of Roofers Union No. 95 in San Jose and attended Creekside Church in Sonora.
His family said he loved fishing, drawing, helping others and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid San Francisco Giants fan, his family said.
Mr. Aguerria is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Ella Aguerria of San Jose; a daughter, Lisa Aguerria, and her fiance, Noah, of San Jose; his mother, Lupe Aguerria of Jamestown; a brother and sister-in-law, Cy and Jeanette Aguerria of San Diego; a sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Dennis Varvell of Jamestown; and 19 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cy Aguerria, in 1996.
Services were held.
