F A Crout Dies Suddenly From Heart Failure
F A Crout, 73 years old, living about three miles from Columbia on the Asylum road, was stricken with heart failure late yesterday afternoon, while seated in a street car traveling toward College Place. Mr Crout was taken from the car in North Columbia and he died before medical aid arrived.
Mr Crout was employed at the Pacific Mills and was considered a reliable workman. It is said that he had suffered from some heart affection. Coroner Nott was notified of the death and he decided that an inquest was unnecessary.
