Mrs. Rosa Mae Mann Adams, age 85 of 204 Canal Street, Cedartown, Ga., passed away Friday morning, June 12, 1981 after an extended illness. Mrs. Adams was born August 27, 1895 in Polk County and was a member of the East View Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Mr. Joe Allen Adams, Cedartown; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Barrett of Cedartown and Mrs. Joe Thomas of Rome; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 13, 1981 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Reginal Campbell and the Rev. Jerry Buttram officiating. Interment followed in the Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Joe Thomas, Jr., Sam Irwin, Jr., Ken Massey, Ben Carroll, Bill Ferguson and Bobby Ferguson.
