Kathy Lynne Carver Pitcher, 47, of Grace, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013.
Kathy was born on September 10, 1965 in Grace, Idaho, the daughter of Denton J. and I. Carma Peterson Carver. Kathy graduated from Grace High School. She lived the majority of her life in Grace, Idaho, with a short stay in Montana.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as Church organist, primary pianist and also in the Cub Scouts. She also played piano for high school choir, plays and weddings.
Kathy married Marvin Pitcher June 24, 1983 in Grace, Idaho.
She enjoyed camping, hiking, cooking, dancing and family reunions.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Marvin, of Grace; four sons: Justin (Kyrie) Pitcher, of Pocatello, Jesse Pitcher, of Grace, Jason (Melanie) Pitcher, of Soda Springs, and Jeremy (Amber) Pitcher, of Pocatello; seven grandchildren; her mother, Carma Carver; a brother, Ronn (LeeAnn) Carver, of Logan, UT; and two sisters: Dorothy (Michael) Parker, of Sarasota, FL, and Susan (Glen) Morris, of Inkom.
She was preceded in death by her father; three brothers: Cliff, Dean and Ken; a sister, Diane; a niece, Stephanie; and a nephew, Brandon.
Services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Grace Stake Center and on Monday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services.
Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.
