65-Year Marriage Ends With Death of Mrs. LaGrange, 83
Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Henderson LaGrange, age 83, wife of Dwight LaGrange, who died Saturday at 2 P.M. at her home in the Hopewell community, will be held at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.
Friends are invited to call at the home at any time and to attend the funeral services. Burial will be made in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Mrs. LaGrange was a lifelong resident of the Hopewell neighborhood have been born August 31, 1859 on a farm near where she died, the daughter of Harvey and Nancy (Wheat) Henderson.
On November 27, 1878 she was united in marriage to Mr. LaGrange at the home of her parents. The couple went to housekeeping on the farm where they lived for almost 65 years. Last November they celebrated their sixty-fourth wedding anniversary. They lived in the house now on the farm for 56 years.
Mrs. LaGrange's entire life was devoted to her family, her church and her friends. She was a loving wife and mother, a staunch friend and active in the church. She was a member of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church and was faithful in her attendance as long as her health permitted.
