Mildred E. Boeckmann of Washington died Friday, 27 May 2005, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. She was 82.
She was born at Washington 20 March 1923, the daughter of David H. and Adelaide Boeckmann, nee Kopp.
Miss Boeckmann attended St. Francis Borgia Grade School. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia Ladies Sodality, Knights of Columbus Council 1121 Ladies Auxiliary, the WCU and AARP.
She retired from Sporlan Valve Company where she had worked as an assembler.
Survivors include one brother, Charles F. Boeckmann and wife, Dorothy, of Wynne, AR; three sisters, Clara Massmann, Gertrude Corbett and Grace Brinker and husband, Henry, of Washington; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers-in-law, Robert Corbett and Lester Massmann.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, 31 May 2005, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Rev. Greg Klump officiating.
Interment was in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to St. Francis Borgia Elevator Fund, Relay for Life or Masses.
Arrangements were in the care of Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home of Washington.
