Raymond T. Gerritsen, 90, Washington, died Friday, December 8, 2000, at Grandview Healthcare Center, Washington.
Mr. Gerritsen, son of the late Joseph Gerritsen and wife Louise, nee Kuhlman, was born November 6, 1910, at Morrison. He received his education at the schools in Morrison.
On June 23, 1958, he was united in marriage to Mary Frances Schulte at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Washington.
Mr. Gerritsen was employed by the International Shoe Company and McDonnell Douglas Corporation.
He served his country in World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Gerritsen January 16, 1996, and by a twin brother, Clarence Gerritsen.
Among his survivors are one sister, Beatrice Bunting, St. Augustine, Florida; one brother-in-law, Henry Homeyer and wife Virginia; one sister-in-law, Laura Altemueller, San Jose, California; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, December 11, at St. Francis Borgia Church with Rev. Patrick Christopher officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
The Gerritsen family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
