Mrs. Apsey was born in Los Angeles California, January 3, 1904, the daughter of Charles and Belle (Pierce) Flickeger and lived in Montrose the last 2 years and in Flushing and Flint since 1929. She married John W. Apsey, June 15, 1929; he preceded her in death in 1967. She taught school for 5 years. Surviving are 2 sons, John Apsey of Interlochen and Charles Apsey of Traverse City; daughter, Jeanne Hardenburg of Montrose; sister Viola Stineman of St. Clair; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
