Mrs. Rosie Lee Crabb age 56, of Uvalda, Georgia, died early Saturday morning, September 16th, in the Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after an extended illnes.
Rosie was a native of Telfair County, and had resided in Jacksonville, Florida for many years prior to moving to Uvalda in 1977. She was a homemaker and was Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Holbrook in 1993.
Rosie is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Denis Meyer of Uvalda; two sons, Bobby Crabb of Agusta and Scott Crabb of Vidalia; her mother, Lillian Parrish of Uvalda; one sister, E. Sue Metcalf of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren and two neices also survive.
Rosie was born to Joe amd Lillian Moon. She was raised in Macrae Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. She and her sister Sue Moon Metcalf were very close all of their lives.
Rosie has 2 children: Kimberly and Jimmy.
4 grandchildren: Jay, Tabatha, Daniel and Timmy.
Rosie was an avid gardner, supportive mom and a loving grandma.She could always make you laugh. She was a bright cloud on rainy days!! She loved butterflies, cats, dogs and almost any living thing. Even Goats she had one of those too!
