Joseph Webb
Joseph Webb died at his home in Roseboom, Wednesday evening, August 21st of heart disese in the seventy-fifth year of his age. Mr. Webb was born in the town of Middlefield and had always lived on the farm, where he was born until last February when he sold his farm and moved to Roseboom. his funeral was held from the Methodist Episcopal church of which he had been a member for a long time, Saturday afternoon conducted by the pastor, the REv. Mr. Lesh. Interment at Middlefield. He leaves a wife whose maiden name was Mary ludlam with whom he had lived nearly fifty years; three daughters, Mrs. James Mahan of Cooperstown, Mrs. Ezra Darling and Mrs. Grant Hubble and one son, Elmer Webb of Roseboom; also one brother, John webb of Roseboom and Mrs. Charles Lake of Pennsylvania to mourn the loss of a kind husband, father and brother; besides a host of friends who sympathize with the family in their bereavement. - Our Roseboom Reporter
