Scott Dean Ponder was murdered at the Super Bike Motor Cycle Shop in Boiling Springs,S.C.;along with his Mother Beverly Guy and Brian Lucas and Chris Sherbert their murders have never been solved. Scott Dean Ponder CHESNEE -- Scott Dean Ponder, 30, of 6971 Parris Bridge Road died Nov. 6, 2003. A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of the late William Dean Ponder and Beverly Elaine Rogers Guy. He was the owner of Superbike Motorsports Suzuki and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Boiling Springs, where he was in the SS Presidency. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Player Ponder; a stepfather, Terry Allen Guy of Spartanburg; a stepbrother, Kristian Allen Guy of Chesnee; a grandmother, Ina Ruth Ponder; and an expected child. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3691 Clark Road, Boling Springs, conducted by Bishop Robert Grudzien. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The families are at their respective homes.

Mr.Scott Ponder was a victim of a serial killer, named Todd Christopher Kohlhepp. There is an episode of “People Magazine” on Investigation Discovery (ID) TV “Killing Field” (2018) documenting his life, and final days.
