Beverly Guy was murdered ,gunned down in Boiling Springs,S.C.at the Super Bike Motorcycle Shop,along with her son Scott Ponder,Brian Lucas and Chris Sherbert their murders have never been solved. Beverly Elaine Rogers Guy ,52, of 19 Damson St., Whitney, died Nov. 6, 2003. A native of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Hardy Lewis and Reola Amanda Scruggs Rogers. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Boiling Springs, where she was the secretary of the Relief Society. She is survived by her husband, Terry Allen Guy; a stepson, Kristian Allen Guy of Chesnee; three sisters, Carolyn Valentine of Blythewood, Gale Hallbrook and Doris Henry of Spartanburg; and an expected grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, conducted by Bishop Robert Grudzien. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The families will be at their respective homes.
Mrs. Guy was a victim of a serial killer, named Todd Christopher Kohlhepp. There is an episode of “People Magazine” on Investigation Discovery (ID) TV “Killing Field” (2018) documenting her life, and final days.
