Charles Ingram Adams, 78, of Elizabethtown died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Hardin County, served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War; and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Mason and Lillie Brandenburg Adams; and a brother William Denzle Marcum. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Eggleston Adams; a son, Charles Mason "Corky" Adams of Denver CO; three daughters, Regina (Darrel) Isbell of DeRidder, LA, Debbie (Dean) Horn, and Angie (Adam) Wiedeman both of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Thelma (Bill) Hinton and Juanita Harbolt both of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Caleta of LA, and Lili and Gavin both of Elizabethtown; and a great-grandchild, Selena. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
