Mrs. Marcus Bales "Granny Mark" Alexander, 85, of 1117 East Third North Street, Morristown, died Monday, November 1, 1993, at Baptist Hospital. She was the widow of Clyde Alexander and the mother of the late Hazel Mullendore and Ila Mae Davies. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Bill (Faye) Crider; son, Wiley Johnson, both of Morristown; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Mayes Mortuary in Morristown with the Revs Bill Crider and Morris Bagwell officiating. Burial will be in the Hamblen memory Gardens
