Marian C. Bergvall was born in Cambridge, Ohio. She graduated from Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio and Kent State University. She was an elementary school teacher by profession and taught at Whittier School in Massillon, Ohio. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Women's Club, American Rose Society, and National Education Association, all in Massillon. She was a Massillon resident for 30 years. Her husband Myren died August 21, 1963. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Ulrich of Atlanta, a sister, Mrs. J.J. Anzalone of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and three grandchildren.
