Charles F. Schwake

Charles F. Schwake, age 78, of 706 23rd St., died Friday evening, Oct. 15, 2004 at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.

Charles was born on Oct. 22, 1925 in Manitowoc County, son of the late William and Anna Schwake. Charles was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the class of 1943. Charles served in the U.S. Armed Forces with a tour during World War II. On Sept. 24, 1949, he married the former Elaine Kotarek at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He was employed at Paragon Electric Company for 30 years. Then he was employed by the Manitowoc Engineering Company, retiring in 1988. Charles enjoyed spending time at his cottage and making crafts. Charles also attended many crafts shows over the years.

Survivors include his wife: Elaine Schwake, Two Rivers; two sons, and daughters-in-law: Thomas and Darlene Schwake, Two Rivers, and Jerry and Linda Schwake, Westmore, Mich.; two daughters and sons-in-law: Kay and Mike Hicks, Manitowoc, and Sue and Chuck Rozmarynoski, Highlands Ranch, Colo.; five grandchildren: Jeff Franz, Brandon and Kristin Schwake, Kaley and Ryan Rozmarynoski.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Kenneth Coenen with burial at a later date at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2004 at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers.
