H.M "Cookie" Mayeux


MAYEUX "Cookie" H.M Mayeux entered the arms of Jesus on July 6, 2013 at the age of 87. She was born on July 22, 1925 and was the daughter of Heloise Foley Miner and John Miner and sister of Carol Miner Baldwin, Bobby Miner (Gloria) and Nettie Miner Dean (Rick).

She is survived by her sister Nettie.

She is Survived by her husband and best friend of 67 years Justin "Don" Mayeux.

She was preceded by her son Rick (Maeleana) and is survived by her sons Rusty, Phillip (Laurel), and Jim.

She was the grandmother to 14 and the great grandmother of 3. She was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed bowling, tennis and golfing with Don and their friends as Diamondhead.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, New Orleans, on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM.

Interment at Lake Lawn Park.
