Born May 20, 1917, in Bruceville, she was the daughter of Edward V. and Alma P. (Watkins) Kyle.
A homemaker, she had lived in Bicknell since 1968 and she was a member of the Bicknell First Baptist Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Her husband, Thomas Strader, died Feb. 15, 1983. A stepson, a daughter, two brothers, and a sister are also deceased.
Survivors include four daughters, Darla Joan Hale of Indianapolis, Carla Faye Fesler of Bicknell, Suzanne Plyler of Atoka, Okla., and Norma Glover of Fort Valley, Ga.; eight sons, Gary Strader of Bicknell, Steven Strader of Vincennes, Norman Strader, Scott Strader and Gerald Strader, all of Indianapolis, William Strader and John "Mike" Strader, both of Princeton, and Thomas Strader of Shelbyville; a brother, William Kyle of Banning, Calif.; 49 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bicknell First Baptist Church by the Rev. Warren Stewart. Following cremation, burial will be in Bruceville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McClure Funeral Home and from 1:30 to service time Saturday at the church.
