Brittany was born a daughter of Angela Johnson Weeks and Rodrick Loritts. She was a recent graduate of North Rowan High School, a member of the track team and the Youth in Action. She was an active member of the local chapter of the American Red Cross. She was a member of Henderson Grove Baptist Church and served as Sunday School secretary, sang on the Youth Choir and was a member of the Junior Ushers Board. Precious memories remain with her mother and stepfather, Angela and Reginald Weeks Jr.; father and stepmother Rodrick and Beverly Loritts; grandmother Joyce Loritts; grandfather Franklin Johnson; grandparents Reginald and Doris Weeks; sisters Asti Loritts, Yulanda Weeks, Regina Weeks and Olivia Bethea. Brittany was murdered in her home at age 18.
